Rabobank IT Systems, Domain Risk & Finance is looking for a scrummaster with experience in a challenging operational environment for Data Management and Logistics ( DML) in Utrecht, 36 hours.
We are currently looking for a scrummaster who wants to make the difference in being with the team(s) at the centre of all data exchange within Rabobank. The Risk & Finance Data Hubs provide all risk & finance data of Rabobank and therefore are critical for both internal and external reporting systems and almost all other risk & finance systems. Together with your DevOps team, you are responsible for all the data of Rabobank that proceeds via our Data Hubs.
Your day-to-day activities range from organising the scrum events, guide the team to operational excellence and being a high performing team to guide and challenge the PO’s in fulfilling their role, steer on improvements, inventarise necessary trainings, (help) define and implement performance metrics. Also you fulfil some coordinating tasks within DML.
The domain Risk & Finance is one of five domains within IT Systems. Risk & Finance takes care of the development and maintenance for all Risk Management, Finance and HR Systems of the Group. More than 500 employees work within this Domain. Data Management & Logistics is part of the department Data Structural (DS). DS realizes the Data Warehouse for the future, safeguards Rabobank Data Quality and smooth data exchange.
When working at Data Management and Logistics (DML) you actively contribute to ship and store almost all Rabobank data together with your DevOps team. Receiving bulk items from our suppliers through several channels, checking it and putting it through to customers. Also quality monitoring and facilitating the business in the governance of Rabobank data is a key activity in DML. Where Data Management is focussing on data quality and data governance ( data lineage, reference data management, data glossary etc), Data Logistics has a central role in a customer focussed and smooth exchange of data within Rabobank.
You are a scrummaster who can take the right balance between facilitating and steering. You are able to challenge the team to perform and improve and you are comfortable in giving feed back to team members.
As part of your DevOps team, you are responsible for changing and running the IT solutions you deliver and maintain. You safeguard together with the team that development is not only about aspects such as implementing business requirements, but also about maintainability, stability and security requirements. Not to forget taking steps to CI/CD, test automation and measuring the operational and team performance in order to improve the team and the process.
All this requires a specific and challenging mindset: the ability and willingness to have the drive to continually improve and take responsibility for the full operations process. The complexity of the job lies in ensuring a balance between changing- and running the systems. In this balancing act you can really put your leading-, changing-, maintaining-, cooperation- and communication capabilities to work!
